Missing campus? Need to hide the state of your living room? Want to show some CGU pride? Download and use these CGU virtual backgrounds for your next Zoom meeting. For information on how to use a virtual background, visit Zoom’s help page.
NOTE: In a Zoom meeting, the image you typically see of yourself is a mirror image. This is how we see ourselves most often in daily life: in a mirror! For this reason, any time you use a virtual background—particularly one that has type on it such as the CGU logo—that background image will appear backwards (or as a mirror image) to you. Rest assured, everyone else in the meeting is seeing you—and the image—facing them as they normally would. Don’t let those backwards letters throw you off!
*Please also note that the ability to use virtual backgrounds in Zoom is dependent on your computer’s CPU and graphics card. For assistance, contact OIT’s Help Desk.
